BLOOD AND GLITTER: SECOND GRADE



​Last Halloween, Blood and Glitter returned to Knox Street Bar for a spectacular night of high-energy chaos, blending horror and glamour into one unforgettable celebration. Hosted by the legendary Silas Again-Walker and the dazzling Joni Vovo, the evening featured a stacked lineup of local drag kings, queens, and non-binary performers who delivered thrilling, high-octane sets. Beyond the stage, Sydney Gaymers kept the crowd on their toes with a selection of horror games, while guests enjoyed a festive atmosphere filled with "ookiest spookiest" costumes, plenty of candy, and incredible prizes. It was a messy, glitter-soaked, and "bloody" brilliant night that perfectly captured the community spirit of the spooky season.



PRIDE WITH PLAYSTATION



In celebration of Pride, PlayStation Australia partnered with Sydney Gaymers to host an immersive takeover at Glitch, offering the community a premium gaming experience in a vibrant, inclusive setting. The event allowed attendees to dive into the cutting-edge world of PS VR2, showcasing the future of virtual reality alongside several high-quality TV stations equipped with various consoles and a diverse library of games. Beyond the gameplay, PlayStation Australia treated guests to complimentary food and drinks. The excitement peaked with a massive raffle where lucky winners walked away with a PlayStation 5 console, PlayStation Plus memberships, exclusive shirts, and a variety of other high-value gifts.



A JUST DANCE NIGHT



Our community-driven Just Dance Night at Universal was an absolute showstopper, turning the venue into a massive, high-energy dance party on June 16th. Driven by a playlist curated entirely by our members, the night reached a thrilling peak when more than 12 players hit the floor simultaneously, dancing along to the big screen and even taking over the main stage. Thanks to our friends at Universal, we enjoyed an hour of non-stop movement where the "no limit" player rule created an electric, inclusive atmosphere. While the dancers owned the floor, we kept our signature setup of consoles and high-quality TVs running throughout the night, ensuring every gaymer had a place to play, connect, and celebrate Pride month in style.
